Chapter 3: Counting Your Blessings

Counting your blessings-

.

Often when I’m sad and irritated, I don’t feel like doing anything or going anywhere. I prefer staying home away from the limelight. And many a times, that sadness prevails out of the worldy things. A pair of shoes, a fancy eat out place, an expensive toy for Nayel or a piece of jewelry for instance that I can’t have. A more deeper — an argument with my husband, a misunderstanding or Nayel not eating properly- a cause too.

.

As I pen this down- I feel how shallow we are- how ‘Human’ we are- we get affected with these little things and we ignore the brighter blessed side of what we have and think ourselves as the worst interms of blessings. We cry, we cringe. We get jealous of other, we envy. We get unappreciative, snobbish, ungrateful and unhappy. Isn’t it? .

Thinking into the brighter and happier side takes effort. We really have to push ourselves into being grateful over what we have and how blessed we are. .

The key is making that effort and counting your blessings. Write them down. Say them loudly. If something makes you feel low- turn your head towards your family and kids. They will make you happy. They will make you feel richer than the richest.

Chapter 2: Super Short Duas for Zikr with Bigger rewards

Ramadan Day 2:

A Quick Look At the Duas you can add in your Dhikr list which upon reciting you can easily gain TREMENDOUS reward:-

1. *SUBHANALLIHI WABHI HAMDIHI, SUBHANALLAHIL AZEEM.*

Recite this 100 times or more especially after fajr.

2. *SUBHANALLI WABIHAMDIHI, ADADA QALQIHI, WARIDA NAFSIHI, ZEENATA ARSHIHI, WAMIDADA KALIMATIHI.*

Reading this thrice is equivalent to 6 hours of worship.

3. *ASTAGFIRULLAHI LAZEELA ILLAHA ILLA HUWAL HAYYUL QAYYUM ATTAOOBA ILLAHI.*

Reading this thrice will eliminate your (minor) sins even if they were as huge as the foam of sea.

4. *LA HAWLA WALA QUWWATA ILLA BILLA HIL ALEEYUL AZEEM.*

5. *ALLAHUMA INNAKA AFFUWUN TUHIBBUL AFWA FA AFFU ANNI.*

Recite this as much as possible on the last ten days and nights of Ramadan.

6. *HASBIYALLAHU WANEMAL WAKEEL.*

Recite this whenever you find yourself tensed over any issue. The calming effect this dua has cannot be denied.

6. *RABBI ISRA LI SADRI WA YASIR LI AMRI.*

Just as its meaning that says “Ya rab, expand my chest and make things easy for me.” , reciting this with firm belief in Allah will definitely ease any difficulty In Sha Allah.

7. *ALLAHUMA ADKHILNI JANNATUL FIRDOUS.*

Recite this thrice and JANNAH itself will make dua to Allah swt to grant you Jannah.

8. *ALLAHUMA AJIRNI MINANAAR.*

Recite this 7 times after fajr salah and isha salah so that if you die in b/w this time you will be protected from hellfire in sha Allah.

9. *RABBI AR RAHUMA KAMA RABBAYANI SAGEERA.*

This one is for your parents. Read this for their welfare and is the best way to make dua for them.

10. *LA ILAHA ILLALA.*

This is obviously the best way to attain tremendous reward easily.

And they are many more such duas which on recitation one can attain Allah’s happiness and blessing and ultimately Jannah.

Hope it was useful.😊

Pass it on so that others benefit from it too.✨

Chapter 1 : ‘Let’s learn together’ – – 3 hours in Ramadan

Starting today , I will be doing a mini series of small messages that we can can benefit from on my blog this Ramadan.

Please note- These will have some useful things I am reading and learning from various places too. I will be mentioning the correct sources inshAllah. I hope you find them useful and Please remember me and my family in duas 🙂

***Three hours not to be missed during Ramadan***

There are three hours each day in Ramadan not to be missed at all costs.

➡First Hour — Hour before breaking your fast

Prepare your meal early and dedicate this time for dua because the supplication of a fasting person before he breaks his fast is never rejected. Pray for yourself, your loved ones and the whole Ummah. And don’t forget our brothers and sisters being oppressed around the world and those who have passed away among the Muslims as they need your dua.

➡Second Hour — Hour in the last third of the night

This next hour is around the last third of the night. Dedicate this time with plenty of dua and seeking forgiveness as it’s a time when Allah SWT descends to the lowest heaven calls out: ‘Who will call upon Me, that I may answer Him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will seek My forgiveness, that I may forgive him?’”

➡Third Hour — The Hour after the Fajr prayer until sunrise

The last hour should be spent after the Fajr until sunrise with lots of dhikr (remembrance of Allah) and reading Quran.

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever prays Fajr in congregation then sits remembering Allaah until the sun rises, then prays two rak’ahs, will have a reward like that of Hajj and ‘Umrah.” He said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “In full, in full, in full.”

This hadeeth was classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.

The most awaited Guest

What do we usually do when a special guest is about to arrive at our homes? We clean the house, cook delicious food, decorate, make sure everything best is done, dress up nicely and light up our surroundings.

.

Yeah? – that’s what RAMADAN is for us ! Our most special guest that brings loads of blessings and happiness (inshAllah) around.

.

Ramadan Mubarik to all of you! Here’s our little Ramadan corner. Lights to brighten our minds and heart towards our deen and duas. Candles to make us think about our past and ask for abundance forgiveness, lanterns as a sign to move forward and make the most of this beautiful Month. A beautiful bowl to add sadaqah daily- to keep less fortunate than us a part of our Ramadan celebrations. A chocolate advent calender to get sugar levels back after Iftar and do an Eid countdown:P

.

May this beautiful month of Ramdan brings happiness in your lives, acceptance in all your duas and tolerance for each other💕

.

.

Bring on the Ramadan celebrations at home mummies!! Would love to see what everyones doing !

Dear Friends..

.

Dear friends,

.

Reading really does take you places! Today it took us to @kidshquae where mummy presented a small session with @mumzworldcom on book reading.

.

I shared my favorite books with so many kids which was so much fun. If you missed mummy’s session, here are our favorite tips for you all :

.

🔻 Choose age appropriate books for us- we kids like bright and colorful books with many pictures and less text. Textures are even better! They’re cuddly 💕💕.

.

🔻 Read as much as you can. Read alot, Read while playing. Act it out and have fun! We love when mummy and daddy act all crazy with us !🤣

.

🔻 Chose a time when we (little ones) are calm, fed and in a good mood! we love reading at bed time – that’s relaxing😍

.

🔻 Grab toys, realia , objects that are we can relate to, and also in the story. For example I love animals and cars, mummy buys books which have these in them and I keep all my cars and favorite animals with me when we read. We play with them too!

.

🔻 Keep us engaged! Ask us questions, let us guess and imagine. Take out funny voices and we’ll enjoy even more!

.

🔻If there’s a movie or a cartoon about the book, watch that first with us. We will fall in love with the book then! 😍

.

🔻 Always do a craft after we finish reading. Something that is fun and is similar to our story. It helps us to remember the story and love it even more. Painting, coloring, activities, singing , dancing – anything!

.

.

Hope these are helpful to you all. Keep ipads/ technology aways from us when its reading time- otherwise you all know us😂😏

.

.

.

A big thank you to everyone for joining us today morning! Can you suggest mummy some of your favorite books so she can get those for me?

.

With love,

Nayel ❤️
