Summers in Dubai are here which means – a ‘BIG NO’ to outdoors as it gets very hot and humid! –Which also means that mummies around in Dubai are on big hunt for indoor play areas to get that energy out of kids that possibly damage the house🤣
The first thing you mummies need to do is download Kidzapp on your phone- and relax! It’s an amazing app that tells you all the activities for your little ones with details! I personally love it! That’s how I found PlayPoint!
So last weekend,we drove off to the Sustainable city Dubai and found really cool indoor play place called ‘PlayPoint’- – It’s a nice not -so-big indoor play area with slides, a trampoline, a ball pit and some cute easy rides around along with lots of space to run around where kids keep jumping from one end to the other.
They even have a small area for birthday parties nicely equipped with chairs and tables- also used as their indoor activities such as art and crafts room.
A cafe inside for quick coffee and juice makes it fun for mummies to chit chat while kids play- and that too a good hot coffee!
Nayel and I enjoyed sliding down- as he calls it ”weeeeee”- non- stop , his favorite out of everything. I had to run all the way in the sneaking play area while playing peek a boo with him- which was a lot of fun!
I went along with my friend so it was refreshing to let kids play while we gave ourselves a break with a nice cappuccino!
If you’re around the sustainable city area- this is a nice place for kids to enjoy.
One thing that I would really wish for them to have is a role play area with toys around- kids under 3 didn’t have much to explore on their own and needed to be supervised all the time for the play as it was not age appropriate for independent fun.
But definitely a place for kids age 4 +
Check out their current Summer offers :
Find them on instagram and facebook:
-Kids under 3 need to be in supervision- so it’s not a drop off kind of place.
– it’s appropriate for 3 years and above – as they can independently play and enjoy.
– Don’t forget your socks- its a soft play area. Even if you do, you can buy a pair from the playarea.
– Beverages and light snacks are available for you to purchase, not included in the price for play.
After a good 2 hours of play and running around, Nayel was hungry and so it was easy to take him out 😛- Play point’s lovely staff handed kids some balloons as they waved goodbye!
Until next time!
What other indoor places do you recommend me to take Nayel?
